I will miss you Aunt Betty. I am so sorry to be missing your funeral. You are reunited with your loving husband now. And your legacy will live on through your super hero son Jonathan. You were an awesome Aunt and I love you very much. Rest in Peace, love Chris
So sorry for your loss. My prayers for you and your family.
Betty and I went to Immanuel UCC at the same time and became the music leaders. She was organist and I was choir director. We worked together for many years. It was a joy for me to work with Betty at church and to become her friend as we both grew in our music and as we both became mothers about the same time. In recent years we haven't kept in touch, but that does not diminish my wonderful memories of the times that we spent together. I know that she had a strong faith and I am smiling while I think that she is probably making heavenly music right now.
You are all remembered in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I hope you can "just be" and not have unrealistic expectations for the journey of grief--grief is a tribute to those we love but will not see again in this life. Grief is a journey without a destination--it changes over time but always with us.
May the love of friends bring comfort and the love of our Lord bring peace

I am saddened to hear about your loss. Our families (Reddix and Fisher) knew each other as friends living in the same neighborhood, going through school together, and our fathers working at Lilly's together. There are a lot of fond and special memories of those times. Your family is in my prayers.
So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. We remember fondly the good times we had together when all of our children were young. We especially remember a summer vacation at Crystal Lake, Michigan. She was lots of fun. She also was the organist at our wedding and really impressed our guests with her musical selections.
My sincere sympathy to all who loved Betty Jenks. I am a dear friend and close neighbor, and I will miss Betty terribly. I already do. She had called me to take her home from hospital....and I offered to take supper to her Friday evening; but she just wanted to sleep....wasn't hungry. She's happy now! May God bring comfort to each one of you, as you reach out to our Heavenly Father.
