Steven “Steve” Joe Ramey, 57, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on January 10, 1963 in Elwood, Indiana.
Steve was a 1981 graduate of Noblesville High School and graduated from Purdue University in 1986. He was an architectural sales manager for 20 years with CertainTeed. Steve was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was also a member of Harbour Trees Golf Club and the Flint Rainbow Club in Michigan.
Steve’s passions included golfing, shooting pool, mountain biking, and, most of all, fly fishing. He cherished the best yellow dog in the world, Riley.
He was, however, perhaps happiest, sharing his time and experiences with those in the community. Steve volunteered for many years as a coach for Noblesville Youth Baseball and the Boys and Girls Club of Noblesville.
He was also proud to volunteer with Project Healing Waters, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Amy (Hart) Ramey; his parents, Larry Ramey and Judy Woodward; his beloved sons, Austin Ramey and Jackson Ramey; his brothers, Larry Ramey Jr. and Michael (Heather) Ramey; as well as many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, September 21, 2020, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, also at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Father Clayton Thompson will officiate.
