A. Ruth Albro

A. Ruth Albro, 92, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. She was born on August 29, 1923 to Fred and Lydia (Bartels) Erb in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Ruth worked as a nurse for over 40 years; after retirement, she loved volunteering at Riverview Hospital. Ruth was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen (Dave) Gill; daughter-in-law, Sandy (Steve) Sheets; sister, Naomi Erb; five grandchildren, Jennifer Gill, Matthew Albro, Amanda Giesler, Ben Albro, and Brad Albro; as well as three great-grandchildren and two more on the way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Frederick W. Albro; great-granddaughter, Faith Albro; brother, Frederick Erb; and sister, Mary Louise Steinbauer.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 20650 Cumberland Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 10:00 am to the time of service. Pastor Martins Irbe will officiate. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
