Addie M. Lackey, 93, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at The Lodge Assisted Living in Noblesville. She was born on September 11, 1926 to James and Beulah (Childers) Weaver in Lawrence County, Tennessee.
Addie worked for Firestone in the rubber hose and air suspension department and worked at the Atomic Energy Commission, in Oakridge, Tennesee during World War II. Addie was a member of the Cicero United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, especially her Bible. Addie enjoyed reading the newspaper, from front to back, and talking politics. She liked to shop and tend her garden. Most of all, Addie loved being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Tony) (Catherine) Lackey; and nephews, Larry Beals, Darryl Beals, and Jeff Beals; and close friend, Patty Powell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Lackey; siblings, Bascum, Jessie, Judson, Junior, Bertha, Daphny, and Mary.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Cicero United Methodist Church, 100 E. Jackson Street in Cicero, with Rev. Byron Fritz officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
