Albert J. Szczepanski Sr.
Albert J. Szczepanski Sr., 76, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on April 9, 1937 to Ignatius and Francis (Stachorowski) Szczepanski in Baltimore, Maryland.
Albert married Patricia L. Delozier on November 17, 1958 and they were celebrating 55 happy years together. He served his country in the United States National Guard. Prior to retiring from Walmart after 16 years, he had worked at B&O Railroad in Baltimore, then at A&P as warehouse supervisor. He was also a manager at B Green & Company prior to moving to Indiana.
Albert was a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana.
He is survived by wife, Patricia L. Szczepanski; son, Albert J. Szczepanski Jr. of East Berlin, PA; daughter, Deborah A. (Doug) Perry of Cicero, IN; grandchildren, Cliff, A.J., and Mike Szczepanski; granddaughter, Christy Leh; plus eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Marty, Stanley, and Frank Szczepanski.
Services will be held at 8:00 pm on Monday, May 20, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Rick Perkins, CMA, officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in memory of Albert J. Szczepanski Sr. to help the family with funeral expenses.
