Aletha Unger

Aletha (Ponsler) Unger, 97, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born May 30, 1911 in Shelbyville, to Bertha (Thurston) and Oren Ponsler.
Aletha had been the cafeteria manager for Noblesville & Hamilton Heights Schools for over 30 years.
She was a 1929 graduate of Cicero High School; a member of Cicero Christian Church; and a 60+ year member of the Hamilton County Extension Homemakers Club, where she had served as a past president.
She is survived by sons, Lawrence Joe (& Joann) Tinsy of Ft. Myers, FL, and Dale (& Margaret) Unger of Noblesville; daughters, Anita Flinchum of Noblesville, and Suetta (& Bud) Stokes of Monticello; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Pastor Tim Lueking officiating. Friends may call Sunday, November 2, 4:00 - 7:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
