Alice L. Dell

Alice L. Dell, 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Riverview TCU in Noblesville. She was born on June 15, 1926 to Wallace and Bessie (Wilson) Hickman in Crown Point, Indiana.
Alice worked as a school secretary for Merrillville Schools and Boone Grove Schools. She also worked at the Valparaiso Public Library. Alice was a past member of Christian Science Church of Valparaiso and enjoyed crochet, gardening, reading, music, and dancing. Most of all, she loved all her grandkids and family.
Alice is survived by her children, Scott Dell, Kathy (Bob) Foster, Pastor Joan Dell, Jerald (Janice) Dell, and Dr. Curtis Dell; six grandchildren, Jason (Courtney) Foster, Beth (Andy) Williamson, Erin (Adam) Lucas, Jonathan Dell, Sarah (Jason) Swift, and Megan (Brian) Yeagy; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Shatkowski and Donna Nemeth; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dell in 1968; and her brother, Robert Hickman.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, in Merrillville, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be at Calumet Park Cemetery immediately following the service. A memorial service will be held in Noblesville, Indiana at a later date.

Alice's family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes in Noblesville with her care.
