Alice Pauline McCarty

Alice Pauline (Harden) McCarty, 92, of Noblesville, passed away at home on the morning of Wednesday, December 2, 2015. She was born on September 2, 1923 to Harley and Mamie (Roberts) Harden in Columbus, Indiana.
Alice retired from the finance center at Ft. Harrison after more than 30 years of service; and had been very active in the Business & Professional Women's Club. Before moving to Noblesville in 1996, she lived in Shelby County, where she was a member of Mt. Auburn Christian Church in Mt. Auburn, IN. She was a member of Noblesville Christian Church; loved spending her winters in Okeechobee, FL; and loved her children and grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by daughter, Pam (Jim) Jewell; son, Rod McCarty; two sisters, Esther Mobley and Betty Meyer; three grandchildren, Cassandra Sommers, Cary Weaver and Chris Weaver; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Raymond McCarty who passed away in 1999; and six siblings.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, December 7, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with Pastor John Davis officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
