Alice Bond Pickett

Alice Bond Pickett, 65, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on February 13, 1951 to John and Nanci Bond in Frankfort, Indiana.
Alice was a 1969 graduate of Westfield High School, and for 35 years worked for the State of Indiana in Vocational Rehabilitation, retiring in 2009. She was a member of First Christian Church of Noblesville, followed the Indianapolis Colts, and was an avid reader. Alice was an excellent cook who was known for her cookies, and enjoyed boating and relaxing at Lake Monroe with her family. She loved & cared for animals, especially cats, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events. A gardener, Alice cultivated and sold flowers; her yard was the envy of the neighborhood. Most of all, Alice dearly loved her family, which she felt was her greatest accomplishment.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Pickett; daughters, Angel Pickett Chilton (husband, Todd) and Amber Dehner (husband, John); four grandchildren, Ezra Dehner, Owen Dehner, Stuart Chilton and Eleanor Chilton; sisters, Dana Eller and Vicki Bond; niece, Carey Eller; and sister-in-law, Sandra Bond.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her brothers, Jeb, Jerry, Randy & Marty Bond.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 16, 2017 at First Christian Church of Noblesville, 16377 Herriman Blvd. in Noblesville, with Pastor John Davis officiating.
