Alvin Cordura

Alvin Cordura, 57, of Chicago, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on June 5, 1967, to Raul and Conchita (Pinili) Cordura in the Philippines.

Alvin was a civil engineer but a salesman by profession. He was proud and very fond of his fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega (Gamma Chapter) and exemplified the true meaning of brotherhood and kinship. Despite living far away, he kept close knit relationships with his friends throughout the years. He had a strong affinity for good food, beer, football, chess, movies, and family.

As a husband, Alvin had a huge heart. He was slow to anger, showed deep respect, kindness and love to Amee.

He is survived by his wife, Amee Eva; mother, Conchita Cordura; sister, Mae (Robert) Hunt; brother, Jules (Pam) Cordura; as well as his nieces and nephews, Robby, Rebecca, Olivia and Evan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raul Cordura.

Alvin was loved and cherished by all and will be sorely missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25, at 11:00 AM, at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Rd, in Fishers, Indiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
