Anita Selzer

Anita C. Selzer, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers. She was born on March 30, 1932 to Carl and Violet (Heuser) Pangerl in Muskegon, Michigan.

Anita was a homemaker and a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church. She loved going to church, painting anything, and making doll houses. Anita liked doing yard work and shoveling snow in the winter. She enjoyed hiking the Michigan sand dunes.

She is survived by her children, Arlana (Lee) Clark, Allard (Robin) Carney, Alane (Craig) Allbee, Roxane Shriver/ Hal Harlan, and Floyd (Cheryl) Selzer; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Selzer; brother, Carl Pangerl; and sister, Felice Lohss.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 8140 Union Chapel Rd in Indianapolis, with Pastor Tom Coffman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Indianapolis.
