Anna Langmaack

Anna Grace , beloved daughter of Micah and Shannon Langmaack, born June 14, 2019, entered Heaven on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the tender age of 21 months.

Though she only lived 665 days on this earth, she deeply touched the lives of so many.  Anna Grace was our Princess Warrior, the light of our lives and the star of our hearts.  She loved her ceiling fans, lights, stuffed animals, and books.  She also LOVED being outdoors! In particular, she enjoyed the cooler elements:  catching raindrops and snowflakes on her tongue, watching a thunderstorm from the safety of her daddy’s arms, and feeling the cool wind blow across her face and through her beautiful cascading curls.  But most of all, she loved to be held and snuggled.  Anna Grace knew no strangers, sharing laughter and squeals abundantly. She leaves us smiling through our tears. She was joy personified.

A miracle survivor from day one, Anna Grace laid aside her battle with health issues, and is now experiencing the fullness of true life in the arms of Jesus. Along with her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Larry and Cheryl Langmaack of Westfield, IN; maternal grandmother, Ann Smith of Huntsville, AL; four uncles: Kevin (Melissa) Langmaack of Tulare, CA, Steve (Melanie) Smith of Arab, AL, Ken Smith of Huntsville, AL, and Darrell (Nuria) Smith of Leon, Spain; and a host of Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles, and dear cousins all over the globe.

She is preceded by her maternal grandfather, Robert S. Smith of Huntsville, AL.

We love and miss you, Little One, and will forever cherish your sweet snuggles and the blessings you poured out to others.  Thank you, God, for the gift of Anna Grace.
