Annette Gates

Annette F. Gates, 90 passed away peacefully on Saturday February 19, 2011. She was born on May 25, 1920 in Indianapolis to William and Mary Bruce.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Gates and son Michael J. Gates.
She is survived by four children, Ronald (Mary) Gates, Monica (Michael) Benac, Mary Jo (David) Sullivan, and Timothy (Mary Ann) Gates, and 8 grandchildren.
While raising her children she enjoyed working part time at L.S. Ayres. Later, she worked at the Indiana Employment Security Division Regional Office for 15 years, retiring in 1986.
She enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, family gatherings, visiting with her grandchildren and watching the Colts.
Her quiet strength, calm nature, and prayerful life helped the family through life's difficult moments and her many kindnesses will always be remembered.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday February 21, 2011 in Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 11 am at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Sisters of Providence.
