Annie Louise Sharp

Annie Louise Sharp, 67, of Noblesville, was born on December 4, 1951 to Lillian Maureen Boles Prater and Leonard Loren Prater, Sr. Annie was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Annie Louise Boles and Margaret Ann Favors.

Annie passed away peacefully in her Noblesville home, surrounded by her family and friends on April 11, 2019. She is survived by her loving daughter, Bobbie Ann Dill Sharp; five brothers, John L. Prater, Thomas E. Prater, David R. Prater, Larry T. (Pam) Prater, and Leonard L. (Jackie) Prater; one sister, Mary Cooper; grandchildren Jessica Nicole (Robert) Gilley, Chelsey Michelle (Matt) Freeman, Casey Maureen (Tyler) Wilson, and Dustin Wayne Freeman; and great-grandchildren, Lilly, Paisley, Jayden, Harmony, Adeline, Dallas, Tyree, and Tyrus.

Annie grew up in Sheridan, later making her life-time home in Noblesville. She was a member of the Moose Lodge for 42 years. Annie loved excitement and adventure, especially on her yearly trips to Kentucky and Tennessee. She loved dancing, playing cards and bingo, and visiting the casino. Annie loved to go, whether it was a drive around town or a trip across the country. Also known as Annie Pooh, she was a friend to many.

One of Annie's greatest legacies was that of being kind-hearted and a loyal friend. By never meeting a stranger, everyone was always welcome in Annie's home. She especially loved her family, and spoiling her grandchildren was a joy. She was particularly close to her oldest granddaughter, Jessica, who helped care for Annie, and her nephew, Matthew Prater, her right-hand man and best buddy. Annie's best-friend was her daughter, Bobbie, who she loved and cared for immensely, you seldom saw one without the other.

She will be deeply missed and will forever be loved by all who knew her. We will miss our Annie Pooh.
