Arjan Singh Sandhu

Our father, Arjan Singh Sandhu, passed away in his sleep on the morning of Monday, January 30, 2017. He had turned 93 years old on January 11 of this year, and had been in the nursing home for the last 22 months. Born in 1924 at Tarn Taran (Punjab, India), he retired from Punjab Government in 1982. He moved from Chandigarh to USA in March 1988 with our mom. He has been living in Indianapolis since 1990.
He is survived by five children, son - Narinderjit Singh Sandhu and daughter-in-law, Surinder Kaur Sandhu of Indianapolis, daughter - Arvinder K. Mahal and son-in-law, Manmohan S. Mahal of California, son - Harpreet S. Sandhu and daughter-in-law, Dinny Sandhu of Indianapolis, daughter - Poonam Dhani and son-in-law, Harminder S. Dhani of California, daughter - Jaswinder K. Chaudhary and son-in-law, Harjit Chaudhary of Chandigarh, India; 13 grandchildren, Dilpreet Sandhu and his wife, Manjyot Sandhu, Sanampreet and her husband, Anoop Madampath, Sunderpreet Sandhu, Subina Mahal, Simran Mahal, Raunak S. Sandhu, Simone K. Sandhu, Kushalpreet S. Sandhu, Rubina Dhani, Harmeet Dhani, Hardeep Dhani, Govind Chaudhary, and Rubal & her husband, Honey Sahni; and three great-grandchildren, Saira Sandhu, Sanjana and Aria.
Funeral services will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Randal & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. A memorial service, Ardas and Bhog will be held at Gurdwara Sahib Sikh Satsang, 10950 Southeastern Ave. in Indianapolis on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The family is also available for condolence on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the residence of elder son, Narinderjit Singh Sandhu at 5509 Wilder Way in Indianapolis.
