Arthur Baker

Arthur L. Baker, 73, Noblesville, passed away June 29, 2010 with his family at his side. He was born September 11, 1936 to Charles H & Sarah (Pollard) Baker, deceased, and also preceded in death by an older brother, Stephen R. Baker.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, of 52 years; children, Tari (Kenny) Hill of Austin, TX , Kimberley and Gregg both from Noblesville; brother Robert E. (Bea) Baker of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
"Big A" graduated from Manual H.S. class of '54, lettering in both varsity basketball & baseball. Art enjoyed his family, traveling with his wife, fishing, golfing, listening to music and was any opponents' worst dream at a card table. His successful sales career ended when he retired from Patio Enclosures as a sales & designer specialist back in 1991. Born with a gift to analyze and break down problems, friends and family often searched his wisdom in times of need.
Viewing will be held at Randal & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville on Saturday July 3, 2010 from 12:00-2:30PM with a service immediately following.
