Arthur Floyd Ball, 76, of Noblesville, passed away on the morning of Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 27, 1939 to Loren and Elenor (Williams) Ball in Pennington Gap, Virginia.
Floyd proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He retired after 30 years in the compounding department of Firestone. Floyd was a member of the Baptist Church in Pennington Gap, American Legion Post #45, and the 40/8, and loved bluegrass music and playing the banjo.
He is survived by his son, Art (Kristin) Ball; granddaughters, Karlie Ball and Kate Ball; brothers, Glen (Willie Jo) Ball, and Sam Ball; sister, Suetta Moore; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Ball, in 2008; and brothers, JW Ball, Ewing Ball, and Robert Ball.
Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
