Arthur F. "Bud" Fulton, 80, of Fishers, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on August 7, 1932 to Ira and Mary (Fowler) Fulton in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Bud was a lithographer for 35 years, starting at Howard Sam's Printing Company in Indianapolis and retiring from Rand McNally Printing Company in 1989. Since 1947 he had also worked with the Safety Patrol at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, during the Indy 500, Brickyard & Grand Prix races. He proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Navy and was a Korean War veteran. Bud was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Noblesville, as well as the American Legion in Westfield, North American Fishermen's Club, and the Indy 500 Oldtimer's Club. He was an avid fisherman and race fan; played the violin; and was very involved in many Indianapolis choirs, including church Mannchor.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Fulton; son, Brent (Karen) Fulton; daughter, Brenda (Tom) Gonzales; brother, Robert 'Dean' Fulton; nieces, Linda & Mary Sue; and four grandchildren, Emily & Katie Fulton, and Nicole & Lauren Gonzales.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, with Rev. Robert Donham officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown.
