Arthur "Pete" Leroy Toler, 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on December 2, 1919 to Arthur and Ida (Beaver) Toler in Marion, IN.
Pete volunteered with Children's Haven International in Reynosa Mexico. He created and directed the choir at McAllen Mobile Home Park in McAllen, TX. Pete was a former Boy Scout leader, and sang in various quartets and in MISTRAL Shows with International Harvestor. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Married on St. Patrick's Day, Pete is survived by his wife of 72 years, Leila J. Toler; daughter, Peggy J. (John) Howe; son, Ran (Lynn) Toler; grandsons, Erik Toler, Chuck Wethington, Andrew (Jody) Howe & Ryan (Sarah) Howe; and great-grandchildren, Lily Howe & Levi Howe.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at First Christian Church in Noblesville, with Pastor John Davis officiating.
