Arthur Leroy Warner Jr.

Arthur Leroy Warner Jr., 64, of Carmel, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015. He was born on June 10, 1951 in Bradford, Pennsylvania, to the late Arthur and Mary (Densford) Warner.
Arthur was a graduate of Shortridge High School, and attended the University of Indianapolis where he played football and wrestled. Afterwards, he continued his lifelong passion of working with children and coaching, being active in both the Warren Township and St. Jude communities for over 30 years. Arthur will most be remembered as a devoted father, and for his quick wit, sense of humor, and strong work ethic.
Arthur held a variety of management positions throughout his career, at Diamond R Ice Cream, Harvest Scents and Traders, and most recently at Zenith Global Logistics. He was a member of White Chapel Church in Fishers.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Warner; son, Tyler Warner (Katy Friday); step-daughters, Melinda (Mark) Amburgy, and Felicia (Christopher) Smock; step-son, Matthew (Kim) Widmer; sisters, Sandy (Bruce) Kragenbrink, and Chris Sims; brother, Hugh Allen Warner; and eight of Sharon's grandchildren, Justin, Ethan, Katelyn, Logan, Trinity, Ashlyn, Kaylee, and Kyle.
In addition to his parents, Arthur was preceded in death by his twin brother, William "Bill" Warner.
Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
