Baron Jacob Spires

Baron Jacob Spires, 17, of Fishers, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 8, 2007 to Michael and Ginger (Martin) Spires in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Baron was a Riley kid, and was recovering from a recent open heart surgery.  

Baron was a rising senior at HSE who loved basketball. He would often reminisce of his Indy Hoops team, and his travel Royal days, especially when they won the state championship. Although a big Warriors and Steph Curry fan, he cheered the Pacers on during our playoff run this year. He was counting the days down to the Colts opener. He enjoyed playing video games with his brother & friends, watching football and loved a good roller coaster. Baron was quiet and reserved but when asked, he always had an informed opinion on important topics and current events. He was smart and very funny.  

Baron is survived by his parents, Michael & Ginger Spires; brother, Mason Spires; grandparents, Robert J. & Paula Martin, Pamela Shephard, and Edward Spires; aunts, Jolie Denmark, Lisa Cornwell, and Laura Chrisp; and his beloved dogs, Reggie & Jack. 

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with services at 6:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Heartland Church, 14900 126th St, in Fishers. Pastor Daron Earlewine will officiate. Burial will be private.
