Barry Lee McNulty , 59, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on March 21, 1961 to the late Carl and Fran (Hyman) McNulty in La Porte, Indiana.
Barry graduated from Kokomo High School and received a BS in Environmental Sciences from Purdue University. He also attended the Colorado Outward Bound School. Barry started his career at Delco Electronics in Kokomo, joining the Hamilton County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist in 1987. He then became Administrator in 1996, leading the Department for the next 33 years. Barry was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, backpacking, rock climbing, hiking, and camping. Barry and his wife Ann owned Lost Fork Valley Farms Beekeeping business and Barry served as Vice President of The Beekeepers of Indiana. Barry was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church and Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He was also active in the Trinity Free Clinic, Third Phase and the America’s Great Loop Cruisers Association. They were also the proud owners of a beautiful North Pacific 43 motor yacht, the boat of their dreams. Barry served on the Noblesville City Council for 8 years and the Board of Zoning Appeals for 30 plus years in the City of Noblesville. He also coached youth basketball. Barry was a wonderful husband, father, and Grampy and will be missed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ann McNulty; son, Zach & Grace McNulty and their sons Benny & Mitchell; son, Danny & Meghan McNulty and their daughter, Quinn; brother, Brad & Lissa McNulty; brother, Stan & Sandy McNulty; and sister, Holly & Paul Schneider.

Barry was an avid outdoorsman and his family has selected three organizations that will help carry on his legacy of wildlife conservation and youth development.
