Bernie Obereiner

Bernard 'Bernie' Obereiner, 54, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born on November 28, 1956 to August and Greta (Papendik) Obereiner in Chicago, IL.
Bernie was a product manager at Bridgestone/Firestone. He received a Civil Engineering degree from the the University of Illinois, and a Master's degree in Business from the Keller School of Management. While attending the University of Illinois, he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He was a member at Westfield Friends Church; and Tres Dias (a Christian organization whose desire is to strengthen men's walk with Christ). He loved reading; going on mission trips; leading the youth group at church; and being a Sunday school teacher.
He is survived by his parents, August & Greta (Papendik) Obereiner of Bloomingdale, IL; wife, Loretta (Cox) Obereiner of Noblesville, IN; son, Jason Bernard Obereiner of Manhattan, IL; daughter, Erika Kay Obereiner of Chesterfield, MO; brother, Willy Obereiner; and sisters, Marianne Smith, Greta Obereiner & Doreen Obereiner.
Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2011 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, IN. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Westfield Friends Church, 324 S. Union Street in Westfield with Reverend Lou Herchenroeder officiating. Burial will be in Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Westfield Friends Church, 324 S. Union Street, Westfield, IN or Indy Tres Dias.
