Berta Hoover

Berta Lois (Guthrie) Hoover, 87, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. She was born January 31, 1921 in Forrest, Illinois to Bertha (Webster) Guthrie and Bert Guthrie.
She married Chalmers Hoover on September 15, 1938. He died in 1998. Mrs. Hoover had been a homemaker and also a 4-H leader.
She is survived by daughter, Linda (John) McCarty of Noblesville; son, Chalmer Grant "Bud" (Andrea) Hoover of Noblesville; grandchildren, Branna Smith, Jason Hoover, Megan (Rick) Tolen and Jamie (Jacob) Grau; and great-grandchildren, Erin Smith, Callie Smith, Sierra Hoover, Wyatt Hoover Allison Tolen, Adrianne Tolen and Alex Grau.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, one sister, Helen Guthrie and one brother, Wm. Robert Guthrie.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Friends may call Sunday, April 6, 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
