Betty Bauer

Betty J. Bauer, 83, of Westfield, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on January 9, 1930 to Henry and Mary (Price) Estelle in Poplarville, Kentucky.
Betty worked as a seamstress for Aero Drapery for 15 years, retiring in 1992. Prior to that she had worked as a waitress; and had also been a secretary at Best Lock in Indianapolis. She was a member of Maple Park Wesleyan Church in Indiana, and upon moving to Florida, a member of Peace River Wesleyan Church. Betty loved her grandkids and enjoyed cooking large family meals. She also enjoyed observing wildlife, sewing, doing crafts; and was a member of the US LST Association Auxiliary.
She is survived by son, David (Libby) Bauer of Hayward, WI; granddaughter, Sarah Bauer of St. Croix Falls, WI; daughter-in-law, Cathy Bauer and granddaughter, Kelly Bauer, both of Noblesville; four great-grandsons; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald W. Bauer (2011); son, Joe Bauer; sister, Othella Dewitt; and brothers James and Hubert Ray Farmer.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville, with Rev. Brian White officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
