Betty Higgins

Elizabeth 'Betty' A. Higgins, 79, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis. She was born on November 10, 1930 to Alexander and Elizabeth (Prokop) Lesch in Passaic, New Jersey.
Betty retired from Chase Bank in 2005, where she had been a teller; and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville.
She is survived by 5 sons - James P. (Susan) Higgins, Timothy A. (Lisa) Higgins, Jeffrey S. Higgins, Thomas M. (Julie) Higgins, Michael T. (Michelle) Higgins; daughter - Marybeth (Tracy) Neal; grandchildren - Lori Hastings, Timothy, Patrick (Jordyn) & Sean Higgins, Kara & Brendon Neal, Ashley & Amber Higgins, Michael & Meredith, Megan & Maris Higgins; great-grandchildren - Isaiah Hastings-Rogers and Eli James Higgins; and siblings - Jane Colvin, Jerome Lesch & Thomas Lesch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James J. Higgins (2007); and siblings, Richard Lesch, Patricia Konecny, James Lesch & Raymond Lesch.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, with Rev. John Zahn officiating. Visitation will be will be Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church, with a Wake service beginning at 7:45 pm. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
