Betty Nowak

Betty Nowak, 95, of Fishers, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on February 18, 1922 to Arthur and Grace (Parquette) O'Brien in Rochester, New York.
Betty was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. She enjoyed maintaining her yard and home.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Lou Chappell and Linda "Dolly" Rappleye; grandchildren, Richard Chappell (Timothy Dalton), Jen-Paul, and Missy (Christopher) Holt; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Holt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nowak; two brothers; and son-in-law, Paul Rappleye.
Services will be held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 34 St. Stanislaus Street, Rochester, NY on Monday, April 24, 2017, at 10 am. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Anthony Funeral Chapel, 1031 Ridge Road, Webster, NY. Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery - Rochester, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Foundation, 30 S. Meridian Street, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204; or Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Anthony Funeral Chapel, 1031 Ridge Road, Webster, NY. Burial will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery - Rochester, NY.
