Betty Joan Swinford

Betty Joan Swinford, 92, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at her home surrounded by her children. She was born on January 17, 1933 to Wayne and Mamie (Gwinn) Everling in Elwood, Indiana. 

Betty worked for King Systems where she had many years of perfect attendance. She was a reliable and dedicated hard worker. Betty enjoyed sewing, working jigsaw puzzles, and watching The Young & The Restless. She was very talented and a self-taught Jack-of-all-Trades. Most of all, Betty was a loving mother whose life revolved around her family. 

She is survived by her children, Norman (Evelyn) Prater Jr., Carl Prater, Marion (Diane) Swinford, John (Amy) Swinford, Judy (Robert) Morriale, Daniel (Jodi) Swinford, David Swinford, Diana (Steve) Shawhan, and Joseph Swinford; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Delgado; children, Dorletha, Jayne Ann and James; and her siblings, Robert Everling, Thelma Swinford, Barbara Rose Barr, Wayne Everling, and Carolyn Hahn. 

Private family services will be held with burial at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
