Betty Thomas

On Sunday, February 24, 2013, Betty Thomas left us after a valiant struggle with breast cancer. She ignited a mystical undercurrent in those lucky enough to have been touched by her spirit. She was brought into this world by her loving parents, Oscar & Pauline Downey, and still has brothers, Bob & Bill. Betty leaves her adult children, Steve (Susan), Marti & Phil (Cindy); eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, sooner than they had expected.
Betty impacted people's lives in many ways, including her art, calligraphy, painting, interior decorating and massage therapy. In keeping with Betty's final request, the family celebrated her life in a private ceremony.
