Betty Ruth Wilgus

Betty Ruth Wilgus, 89, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Harbour Manor in Noblesville.  She was born on August 29, 1928 to George and Ruby (Winter) Balzerick in Springfield, Illinois.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Cicero Christian Church. Betty was a major appliance and electronics department manager at L.S. Ayres for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, neighbors, and most of all the love of her life, her husband Dick.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Sheckell and Debbie Foster; grandchildren, Samantha (Kevin) Hartmann, Derek (Cathy) Kern, Kevin Kern, and Joshua (Jessica) Kern; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jack Hartmann, Sean and Tess Arfin, and Phoenix and Rose Kern.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of close to 70 years, Richard Milton Wilgus; and her brother, William Balzerick.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Chaplin Beau Hamlin officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:30 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
