Betty J. Wilkerson, 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 23, 1934 to Frank and Floy (Edwards) Gilpin in Eagletown, Indiana.
Betty was a quality control inspector with Hughes Aircraft (now Boeing Aerospace). She was a member of Eagle Creek Evangelical Friends Church, and enjoyed watching college & professional basketball, especially the Pacers. She also loved reading, and her pet bird.
She is survived by her son, Mark McGlashan; sisters, Jane (Bernard) Roudebush, Jo Francis, & JoAnn Mayhew; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wilkerson; brothers, Bus, Gene, Sonny & Jim Gilpin; and sisters, Kate Jones, Maxine Davis, & Virginia Castor.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Eagle Creek Evangelical Friends Church, 18103 Eagletown Road, in Westfield, with Pastor Jerry Vincent and Pastor Ken Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 16, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will be at Eagletown Cemetery in Westfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brittany Mason Memorial Fund, c/o Farmers Bank, 987 South White Avenue, Sheridan, IN 46069.
