Beverly Sue Brown
Sue married Herbert M. Brown on February 11, 1967. She had a lifetime career in nursing while raising her 4 children. Sue's passion was her grandchildren and women's health at Humana Women's Hospital. She was awarded nurse of the year at local and regional levels. Sue was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for over 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Herb Brown; sons, Chris Brown (Angela Eckholm) and Eric Brown (Heather); daughters, Carrie Brown and Kelly Bodine; grandchildren, Zoe, Lucie, Marissa, Logan, Lucas and Maya; sister, Carolyn Armstrong (Skip); brother, Gene Welch (Kathie); as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her in-laws, Cecil and Nelda "Ruthie" Brown.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a Nurses' Tribute at 5:00 pm, on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. An additional visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with Mass at 11:00 am, on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street in Noblesville. Rev. Clayton Thompson will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wapella Village Fire Department, 315 Main Street, Wapella, IL 61777; or National Institutes of Health, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20892.
