Bill Holmes

William "Bill" Holmes, 75, of Whitestown, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. He was born on December 19, 1937 to Warren and Pauline (Wagner) Holmes in Boone County, Indiana. His parents precede him in death.
Bill was a truck driver for Indiana Farm Bureau, and served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Carmel American Legion for 38 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Holmes; daughters, Terri (Don) Peterman, and Lisa (Tim) Higgins; brother, Charles (Judy) Holmes; sister, Linda Peine; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville with visitation beginning at 3:00 pm until the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate.
