Billy Jones

Billy Jones, 80, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on January 31, 1935 to Willie and Martha (Jones) Jones in Manchester, Kentucky.
For over 30 years, Billy worked in the saw mill at Curry-Miller Veneering in Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and sharing stories with friends & family. Billy loved animals, and enjoyed reading the Bible. Most of all, he was a wonderful husband and father who cherished spending time with his family.
Billy is survived by his wife, Irene Jones; children, Janet (Mark) Shibata, Clint (Paula) Jones, Joyce (Allen) Rigney, Helen (Larry) Pullum, & Chris Jones; siblings, Axie, Warden, Roy & Bonnie; grandchildren, Angel, Sabrina, Tabitha, & Ashley Bir, BJ & Cristopher Truett, Nikki Kelley, Duke Jones, Jennifer, Amanda, & Shane Beach, Brandon Jones, and Brian, Bradley, Jasmine, & Taylor Jones; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Frankie & Earl Jones; grandson, Joshua Truett; and sister, Ola Bowling.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church, 197 South 9th Street, in Noblesville, with visitation from Noon to 1:00 pm. Pastor Stephen Schultze will officiate. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060.
