Blythe Marie Alderton

Blythe Marie Alderton, 49, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023, at her home.  She was born on April 29, 1974, in Terre Haute, Indiana.  She fought cancer for 3 and a half years and in the most noble way. She was the baby of the family but also “the boss,” arranging family vacations and celebrations. Her home became the family home, swimming pool and all. Her nieces and nephews were her children, they would not be where they are today without her love, guidance, and support. The loneliness and emptiness will be great in our family without her. She wants no funeral but a celebration of life at a place she chose which we will arrange in the near future. In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Blythe was a graduate of South Vigo High School and Indiana University. She was an operations director for Charles Schwab for 25 years. 

She is survived by her mother, Marianne (Decker) Alderton; brothers, Scott (Teresa) Alderton and Andrew Alderton; best friend, Jennifer (David) Griffin; nieces and nephews, Noah, Sarah, Rosemary, & Samuel Alderton; and her dogs, Jacques & Julio.

She was preceded in death by her father, L . Scott Alderton; and grandparents, Rev. R. Louis Alderton, Mary Margaret Alderton, Claude Decker, and Mary Decker.

The Alderton Family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Home with Blythe's care.
