Bobbi Lea Byrn Plewes

Bobbi Byrn Plewes, 59, of Carmel, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.  She was born on May 20, 1958 in Melbourne, Florida.
Bobbi proudly served her country in the United States Army as a nurse for 20 years, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  Her tireless work ethic continued without break into civilian life as a nurse practitioner, most recently becoming a member of the Eskenazi Health family.  Bobbi was a champion of social injustice and fought for equal healthcare for all of her patients.  With each new patient, her family grew a member, sharing love and cookies during the holidays.  Bobbi was a die-hard Cowboys fan who balanced working full-time while raising her kids.  Her four children each inherited a unique quality of their mother, which she embodied as a whole.  Bobbi strongly believed in leaving everything better than she found it.
She is survived by her father, Robert (Delia) Byrn; children, Chris (Dawn) Meza, Ginny (Ric) Jones, Johnny Plewes, and Abbi Plewes; sister, Anna Triscari; grandchildren, Carson Meza, Jevin Meza, Ethan & Evan Lewis, Kaiden Jones and Justice Jones; her best friend, Dawn Hill; nieces & nephew, Kayla, Emma, Amanda and David; as well as her Eskenazi & In-Home Primary Care.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia (Milam) Byrn.
Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 10:00 am to the time of service.  
A Celebration of Life will be held following the service on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Eskenazi Pecar Health Center Community Room, 6940 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
Burial will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
