Brian Christopher Hughes

Brian Christopher Hughes, 37, of Westfield, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born on October 2, 1978 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Brian was a computer consultant for Allegient, and had been in the IT industry for 14 years. He had attended IU Bloomington and was a big IU and Colts fan.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie Hughes whom he married on September 22, 2001; his two children, Jordan Hughes and Aubree Hughes; his mother, Linda Berry; his father, William Berry; in-laws, Fred & Janna Messmer and Kerry & Martha Hochgesang; grandfather, Lenard Francis; step-brother, Brian Berry; and brothers & sisters-in law, Ky Lynn Brown Groover, Brad Messmer, and Justin & Hillori Wanninger.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy 'Dot' Francis.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oak Ridge Road in Carmel with visitation beginning two hours prior to the service. Rev. David Huemmer will officiate. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Hull Cemetery in Terre Haute, IN.
