Bruce Harkness

Bruce E Harkness, 79, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at home. He was born on September 14, 1931 in Baltimore, MD.
Bruce was employed in the payroll department with the Allison Division of General Motors.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Gholston) Harkness of Westfield; daughters, Cindy (Larry Baerveldt) Harkness of Fishers & Kathy Hutchins of Baltimore, MD; step-son, Gregg (Johnna) Gholston of Valparaiso, IN; step-daughter, Jana (Fred) Gholston of Brookston, IN; two grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by first wife, M. Maguire Harkness.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Rd in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service. Chaplain David Francouer will officiate. Burial will be at Chester Friends Cemetery in Westfield.
