Buddy Lee Powell

Buddy Lee Powell, 75, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at his home. He was born on March 22, 1940 to Harley and Ella (Sowers) Powell in Cicero, Indiana.
Buddy served his country in the Indiana National Guard, and owned his own excavating company. He was a member of the Noblesville Moose, Eagles, and American Legion, and enjoyed league bowling, golf, and fishing in Florida.
Buddy is survived by his wife, Patty (Hooper) Powell; children, Charlene Cook, Joey Powell, and Amy Landis; uncle, Charles Sowers of Naples, FL; brothers, Joe Powell, and Jerry (Sally) Powell; step-sons, Stephen Sell, and Kerry Sell; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Linda Powell, in 2013.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 23, 2015, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Visitation will be Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060; or Wheeler Mission, 205 E. New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
