Buell Haven Dillon , 94, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 14, 1926 to Claude and Lelia (Wethington) Dillon in Lebanon, Indiana.
Buell proudly served in the United States Army during WWII as a military policeman. He was the co-owner of Economy Elevator Enterprises in Carmel, Indiana where he worked for thirty years before retiring in 1988. Buell was a member of the Carmel Masonic Lodge #421. He loved to travel and was a former member of Ambassadair Air Travel Club. Buell was an avid fisherman and bowler. He loved to follow Carmel High School sports and Indiana University.
He is survived by his step-son, David V. Sutton of Broad Ripple; step-brother, Fred Whitlow of Indianapolis; half-sisters, Virginia Ray of Cicero and Norma Dunn of Hohenwald of Tennessee; half-brothers, Claude Dillon, Jr. of North in South Carolina, Virgil Dunn of Hohenwald in Tennessee, Albert Dillon of North in South Carolina, David Dillon of W. Columbia in South Carolina, and Danny Dillon of Hohenwald in Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Rose (Swaynie) Dillon and special friend, Ann Nattier.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
