C. Glenn Roberts

C. Glenn Roberts, 86, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011 at home. He was born on June 23, 1925 to Jesse and Hazel Roberts in Boone County, Indiana.
Glenn was retired from L.S. Ayres and Meijer. He was a graduate of Sheridan High School and proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.
He is survived by sons, Michael (Carolyn) Roberts of Texas & Kelly Roberts of Texas; three grandchildren, Brad & Craig Roberts of Texas & Loretta (Allen) Ellis of Yoder, IN; sister, Mary Jolly of Elizaville, IN; and stepchildren, Robert (Marianne) Whelchel, Myrna (Tom) Cannaday, Sandra (Farrell) Brandenburg, Jackie (Dr. Harry) Wolfe, Sharon (Dallas) Woods, Jane (Rob) McCullough & Barbara Mills.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Whelchel & brother-in-law, Lloyd Jolly.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Pastor Steve Fair officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 18, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
