Callie Mae Dotson

Callie Lawson Dotson, 83, of Noblesville, passed away May 10, 2016. She was born in Virginia on April 22, 1933 to Kent & Rosie Fuller Surrett.
Callie attended school in Saint Charles, Virginia and came to Noblesville in 1964. She worked mostly at Riverview Hospital housekeeping. After employment at Riverview, she started in-home daycare, which was a perfect fit for her love of caring for babies. Callie loved and cared for each child as though it were her own. She greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, crocheting, singing, and growing tomatoes. Most of all, she loved reading the Bible and attending church at New Light Christian Center, and in the latter part of her life, Victory Baptist.
Callie is survived by her sister, Bobbi DeWitt; children, Lesa Jessee Mackey and Mark (Becky) Lawson; grandchildren, Jamie Jessee, Blake Jessee & Rebecca Lawson; step grandchildren, Jeff (Cindy)Lawson, Todd (Melissa) Lawson, Brandi (Travis) Serna, Ricky, Jerry, Wayne & Ellen Tritt, Mary Warfe, Donny (Mistie) Coverdale, Andy (Brittany) Coverdale, Tabitha Jones, and Michael (Tina) Jones; several great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Shirley Lawson; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles T. Lawson and Robert Dotson; infant son, Samuel David Lawson; stepson, Richard Lawson; stepdaughter Janice Tritt; granddaughter, LaDonna Lawson Thompson; grandson, Johnny Tritt; and great-grandson, Clayton Lawson.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers, with visitation from 10:00 am to the time of service. Pastor Darrell Jones and Evangelist Chad Fultz will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
