Carl Mead
Carl H Mead, 78, of Fishers, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 6, 1932 to James and Emma (Sack) Mead in Passaic, New Jersey.
Carl worked as a steel salesman for Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and served in the U. S. Army from 1954 -1957.
In addition to his family, Carl loved poker, golf, racquetball and hiking.
He is survived by wife, Nancy H. Mead; daughters, Marsha (Jeffrey) Bernauer and Jennifer (Gary) Gal; and grandchildren, Zachary Bernauer, and Jordan and Eric Gal.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Mead.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Community Home Health Services Hospice.
