Carlos Gonzalez

Carlos R. Gonzalez, 98 of Indianapolis passed away Monday May 10, 2010 at Westminster Village North in Indianapolis.  He was born November 5, 1911 in Cuba.
Carlos was an Ophthalmologist and an eye surgeon.  He had a private practice in Cuba for 15 years before coming to the United States, where he continued praticing with the Veterans Administration.  He retired in 1974. He was a member of the American Medical Association, Retired Federal Employees, and the Lions Club.
He is survived by daughter, Melba L. Kiser; son, Carlos A. Gonzalez; grandchild, Bryan Gonzalez; grandchild, Sara Poppitz; grandchild, Lauren Kiser; grandchild, Megan Gonzalez; grandchild, Katlyn Gonzalez; great-grandchild, Edward Gregory Poppitz; great-grandchild, Joseph Benedict Gonzalez.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Melba M. Gonzalez.
Services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville.   Friends may call Thursday, May 13, 12:00 - 2:00PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home.   Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery.
