Carma Jeanine (Sipos) Rowles, born September 24, 1937 to Frank & Lucille (Swingle) Sipos in West Rushville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2018.
Carma was a resident of Noblesville, Indiana. She was born & raised in West Rushville, attended Rushville Union High School, and graduated in 1958. In high school, she met her husband of 55 years, Tom Rowles. Tom & Carma were married on August 31, 1958. After their wedding, they moved to Cincinnati, OH. Carma was a bookkeeper and raised 3 sons. Tom & Carma both were very active at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Milford, OH.
In 1975, Tom & Carma relocated to Carmel, Indiana and were very active at Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Carma was a preschool teacher at the church for over 30 years and active with various Bible Studies and many church luncheons.
Carma loved bowling, playing cards with the grandchildren, and attending family athletic events.
In addition to her parents, Frank & Lucille Sipos, Carma is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Rowles; brothers, Donnie Sipos, Denzil Sipos & Larry Sipos; and her sister, Melba Sheets.
She is survived by her sister, Loretta (Frazier) Sipos; and brothers-in-law, Gary Frazier & Walter Sheets. Carma is also survived by her sons, Kevin (Jackie), Steve (Diane), & Dan (Jane); 8 grandchildren, Jamie, Kelsey, Heather, Kyle, David, Lizz, Sarah, & Alia; and 2 great-granddaughters, Sydney & Evelyn.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, located at 3650 West 106th Street, Carmel, Indiana, 46032. Visitation is from 10am to 11am with funeral services to follow. Arrangements are by Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville.
A committal service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery located at 5575 Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd NE 43130 in Lancaster, Ohio near Colfax, Ohio. Following the service, a luncheon will be provided at Tom & Amy Keenan's house (The Lodge).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pilgrim Lutheran Church preschool.
