P. Carol Garner, 76, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Riverview Health in Noblesville.  She was born on August 4, 1942 to Fred and Naomi (Horn) Wyatt in Marianna, West Virginia.

Carol was a 1960 graduate of Noblesville High School.  She was an active member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church where she started a community meal every month.  Carol loved walking and visiting with her friends at Noblesville Rehab Center and was well-known for making Christmas candy for her family and friends.  She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed shopping and working in her flower garden.

Carol is survived by her son, Greg Oakes (Bre Scherer); her daughter, Heather Oakes; siblings, Renva Gunter, Linda (Lloyd) Muterspaugh, Frankie (Jim) Jung, and Freda Wyatt; grandson, Jordan Byrum; 9 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; step-sons, Bryan and Andy Garner; step-daughters, Diane Frechin, Cathy Cortrecht, Lisa Garner Olson; as well as several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon "Red" Garner; and siblings, Hester Kelly, Miles Wyatt, Ben Wyatt, Rose Wyatt, Billie Jo Boggs, and William Jackson Wyatt.

Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with visitation from 2:00 pm to the time of service.  Rev. Carol Schenck and Dr. Richard Schenck will officiate.
