Carol G Smith

Carol G. Smith, 70, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Fishers. She was born on August 10, 1946 to Carl and Faye (Sutton) Schwenzer in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Carol was a graduate of Lawrence Central High School. An animal lover, she and her daughter, Linda, groomed pets for 29 years at Animal Arts Pet Grooming in Noblesville. Carol was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to concerts and traveling, especially to Arizona and Nevada. She was very thoughtful and always brought back gifts from her travels for family and friends. A very loving and giving person to those in need, Carol lived for her family and friends. She especially enjoyed going to see movies with her grandson, Noah.
Carol is survived by her husband, Glen Smith; daughter, Linda (Mark) Merideth; grandson, Noah Merideth; siblings, Al Schwenzer, Tom Schwenzer, Bill Schwenzer, Lisa Thomas, and Phoebe Schwenzer; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Glen Eugene Smith.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation from 1:00 pm to the time of service. Pastor Wade Apel will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Suite B, Noblesville, IN 46060; or Little Sisters of the Poor, c/o St. Augustine Home, 2345 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260.
