Carol Beth Wild, 69, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at IU Saxony in Fishers. She was born on June 28, 1955 to Eugene and Dorothy (Bir) Houston in Lafayette, Indiana.
Carol was a teacher and administrator at the Indiana School for the Deaf. She liked golfing, walking, traveling, and going to the beach. Carol enjoyed going to thrift stores and having lunch with her son, Scott. She loved going on sister retreats. Mary Rhea was Carol's life partner, business partner, and a sister to Carol's family. Carol was an ordained minister with The Church Within. She was an active member of the Snow White Club.
She is survived by her son, Scott Wild; companion, Mary Rhea; siblings, Edward (Mary Jane) Houston of Delphi, IN, Beverly Chadwick of Westfield, IN, Susan (Mike) Marchetti of Carmel, IN, Kenneth (Carolyn) Houston of Monticello, IN, Nancy (Bill) Creech of Plymouth, IN, Ronald (Micky) Houston of Lafayette, IN, Brian (Kate) Houston of Monticello, IN, Sandy (Greg) Johnson of Monticello, IN, and Lori (Bill) Cheever of Monticello, IN; grandchildren, Josiah Rhea and Grace Allee; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Judith Houston Guingrich-Claypool and Barbara Houston Vanderate; brothers, Michael Houston and David Houston; and brother-in-law, Burton Chadwick.
Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Pastor Andy Marshall officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.
