Carole D. Hurst

Carole Denise (Ferrand) Hurst, 58, Noblesville, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009 at home. She was born May 7, 1951 in Franklin, Indiana to Lester and Mary (Wells) Ferrand. Her parents precede her in death.
Carole had been an elementary school teacher with Twin Lakes School Corporation for 11 years (1973-1984), where she had been an assistant volleyball coach for seven years, and head volleyball coach for one year; and also taught elementary school with the Noblesville Schools for 17 years (1991-2008). She was a 1969 graduate of Greenwood High School; and a 1973 graduate of University of Indianapolis. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Noblesville. Other memberships include: Noblesville Boys and Girls Club Auxiliary, Noblesville Miller Backers (25 years), and the Indiana Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Steve Hurst of Noblesville; son, Kellen (Jennifer) Hurst of Indianapolis; brother, Randy (Karen) Ferrand of Greenwood, IN; nephew, Jeff (Elizabeth) Ferrand of Indianapolis; and great-niece, Mya Ferrand of Indianapolis.
Services will be held at 7:00PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at First United Methodist Church in Noblesville, with calling beginning at 4:00PM until the time of service. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
