Carolyn Bain

Carolyn Bain, 67, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 25, 2015. She was born on October 21, 1948 to Charles and Roberta (Junge) Croft in Marion County, Indiana.
Carolyn was born with that rarest of gifts, of making the extraordinary out of the ordinary. No one was more gifted at seeing enchantment in everyday life than she. She enjoyed cooking and crafting, and penned the most exquisite calligraphy. She was also a talented storyteller. Her ability to turn the mundane into magic made her a treasure to have on those long car rides to a slice of heaven in Florida called Casey Key, where she spent many summer evenings content to watch the sun slip into the Gulf of Mexico.
Carolyn was also passionate about animals. Over the years, she shared her life with a menagerie of dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens and llamas. Her beloved dogs, Tucker and Gigi, are standing watch, waiting for her to return.
For 19 years, Carolyn worked in medical records at Riverview Hospital.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Robyn (Sean) Hart of Brownsburg, and Caryn (Matt) Murdock of Noblesville; brother, Allen (Lois) Croft; and four grandchildren, Logan Elizabeth Hart, Samantha Jayne Hart, Charlie Earl Murdock and Joey Charles Murdock.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death in 2007 by her husband, Richard Earl Bain.
Services will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, Noblesville, with visitation from 5:00 pm to the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 29 at Marion National Cemetery, 1700 East 38th Street, in Marion.
